Your situation

Three situations.
One careful first assessment.

“My child has not returned.”

Explain where your child normally lived, when travel took place and what was agreed about returning.

“I have received a child-return application.”

Have the papers, hearing dates and relevant evidence reviewed before responding.

“I am worried my child will leave Israel.”

If departure may be imminent, contact the firm directly to discuss the circumstances and possible urgent steps.

How we help

Focused representation.
From assessment to proceedings.

Return applications

Assessment of possible Hague Convention proceedings involving Israel.

Responding to an application

Review of the allegations, evidence and potential responses in your circumstances.

Urgent protective steps

Assessment of relevant court applications and travel concerns when appropriate.

Coordination across countries

Organizing the Israeli proceedings and identifying where overseas advice is needed.

Israel and beyond

A child-return case is different from a custody case.

The Hague Convention provides a framework for return proceedings following wrongful removal or retention. A return decision does not decide the merits of custody. We assess whether the Convention applies and explain how the relevant issues differ from a proposed relocation.

Your Strategic Case Assessment

How your legal
consultation works.

A structured, focused consultation to understand your situation, assess the legal issues and identify practical next steps.

  1. Prepare your essentials

Gather relevant court filings, agreements and correspondence. Write down your key questions, objectives and desired outcomes.

  2. Review your situation

Discuss the facts and relevant documents so the attorney can evaluate your circumstances and understand what matters most to you.

  3. Understand your options

Receive individualized legal guidance, including analysis of relevant jurisdiction, custody, financial or procedural issues.

  4. Agree the next steps

Discuss whether representation is appropriate. If there is mutual suitability, the firm provides a proposed scope and fee proposal.

60 minutes

Your Strategic Case Assessment lasts 60 minutes. Arrive or log in about five minutes before your appointment.

A confidential conversation

Your information is handled confidentially, in accordance with applicable attorney-client privilege and professional duties.

Before you get in touch

Questions worth asking.

Does every international parenting dispute fall under the Hague Convention?

No. We review the countries involved, the child’s circumstances and the alleged removal or retention before assessing the appropriate process.

Can you promise that my child will return?

No. An assessment explains the legal position, relevant evidence and available steps; the court decides the application.

What should I have ready?

Prepare the child’s travel timeline, existing orders or agreements, relevant correspondence, the application if one has been filed, and any hearing or response dates.

What if travel is imminent?

Call or WhatsApp the firm and explain the timing. A website inquiry does not establish representation or confirm that urgent action has been taken.

Can my consultation take place fully online?

Yes. Your 60-minute Strategic Case Assessment and follow-up consultations can take place entirely by video call. Wherever you are, we can review your situation, discuss relevant documents and explain your next steps without an office visit.

Can you handle my Israeli legal matter while I am abroad?

We coordinate online consultations, document exchange, filings and case updates so you can work with an attorney in Israel from abroad. Where permitted, we also arrange remote identity verification, affidavit signing and participation in hearings or government procedures. Notarial, consular and apostille requirements depend on the document, your location and the receiving authority. We explain what can be done remotely, request the appropriate permissions and tell you when originals or attendance in person are required. Video meetings and direct updates keep you informed about the next steps and deadlines throughout the matter.

How are your legal fees calculated?

Indicative hourly rate: ₪800–₪1,400

Depending on the nature, complexity and scope of the matter, we may propose hourly billing or a fixed fee for an agreed service. We consider an appropriate fee arrangement for each case. This range is an indication, not a quote or commitment; the scope, fees, applicable VAT and any additional expenses are clarified and agreed before engagement.
